April Calendar 2018!

Think you know libraries? Think again.

It’s that time again!

School holidays are here and our APRIL calendar has all you need to keep the kids busy.

Laser tag is back! Get excited because we are moving out of the library this month and converting Watson Reserve into a battle field for an afternoon of laser tag fun.

Our calendar is packed full of fun and exciting things to do with bubble soccer, circus skills, art, craft and gardening just to name a few.

We also have the Better Beginning Book Cubby visiting from the State Library all this month!

The Book Cubby is an interactive exhibition of books written and/or illustrated by children and communities within Australia and around the world.

And did we mention our Have a Go series is continuing with Taekwondo: Self Defense?

Join Master Justin as he teaches you how to make yourself less of a target and basic self-defense skills influenced by the Korean martial art Taekwondo.

This workshop is a great opportunity to try something new while having some fun.

Don’t forget… all our April Calendar of Activities and workshops are FREE but places are limited so BOOK NOW!

March 2018 Calendar!

Think you know libraries? Think again.

Every month we work hard to present you with a fantastic selection of new, never before seen workshops and MARCH is no exception.

This month we’re heading out of the library to the Eaton Bowling Club for our new Have a Go series where you can come and try a new sport, hobby or activity for FREE.

Come down on Saturday 17th March and try your hand at barefoot bowls—it’s the perfect activity for the whole family.

We also have a NEW Sustainable Living workshop, which will alternate between Burekup and Dardanup each month.

These workshops will share helpful hints, tips and great ideas for how to save money and reduce your ecological footprint.

And if you’re missing our macramé workshops, why not come along to our Macramé Social Group?

Bring your projects and materials down to the Eaton Community Library and share your tips and tricks with like-minded people.

This is only a couple of teasers for what’s in store this month, so sit down, grab a cuppa and check out the full selection below.

Don’t forget… all our March Calendar of Activities and workshops are FREE but places are limited so BOOK NOW!
