Book Launch - Local Author
On Monday the 2nd April, we will be hosting the launch of "Never Walk Alone" by local author Phil Mihaljevich.
Arrive at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start with a light supper served free of charge. Come and listen to him discuss his debut novel and his publishing journey.

Canapés and Crime
On the 20th February 2012, Katherine Howell visited Eaton Community Library for an evening of Canapés and Crime. She is currently promoting her latest Ella Marconi novel Silent Fear. Around 50 members of the public attended to listen to Katherine speak, and enjoy food and drinks supplied by the library.
It was a successful evening and a perfect first event to start of our year full of Library Events to celebrate the National Year of Reading.

Storytime Hats, 25th October 2011
On Tuesday 25th October the storytime children listened to stories about Spring flowers and made their own Spring flower hats.

Visiting Author - David Hill
Staff and patrons at Eaton Community Library are currently anticipating a visit from author, David Hill. He is the author of such titles as The Gold Rush, The Forgotten Children, and 1788. David has previously been the chairman and managing director of the ABC. He has also held executive positions with the Australian Football Association, the State Rail Authority N.S.W., and Australian Airlines among others.
He will be visiting Eaton Community Library on:
Thursday, 15th of September.
There will be a morning tea at 10:30am followed by David’s presentation at 11:00am. Copies of his bestselling books will be available for sale after the presentation. Fun in the rain!
During the July school holidays, the library offered craft activities - fridge magnets, dangly shape mobiles, rainmakers and dot paintings. A great time was enjoyed by all - see below for photos. Keep an eye out before the October school holidays for brochures advertising more activities.
